Between ABAP code and the business process
My day-to-day sits on the boundary between development and finance and procurement processes. That is usually where the interesting problems show up.
FI / MM
Payables and receivables, period-end closing, purchasing, stock and IDocs. And above all the integration between both modules, where most things break.
Automation
Background jobs, batch input, BAPIs and interfaces that remove manual work without lighting a new fire at every month-end.
